Completely Knocked Down (CKD) / Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) export
CKD (Complete Knocked Down): The vehicle is completely disassembled into components for export, with final assembly carried out overseas.
SKD (Semi Knocked Down): Vehicles are exported in large sub-assemblies—such as the chassis, engine, and cab—and undergo partial assembly at the overseas destination.
These two forms are often used to circumvent tariffs, meet local content requirements, or reduce transportation costs.
